Privacy Policy

Sairu ("we", "us", or "our") is a job search workspace for individual candidates and coaches. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

Account data

When you sign in with Google or email, we receive your email address and display name. We store this to identify your account and workspace.

Workspace data

Sairu stores the data you create in your workspace: saved job listings, application notes, resume documents, outreach drafts, interview records, coaching notes, and any other content you add. This data is stored in a Supabase-hosted database scoped to your account.

Usage data

We collect basic telemetry — pages visited, features used, error counts — to understand how the product is working and where to improve it. This is aggregated and not sold or shared.

Cookies and sessions

We use cookies solely for session management (keeping you signed in). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels.

How we use your data

• To provide and improve the Sairu service
• To send transactional emails you request (outreach digest summaries)
• To debug errors and monitor service health

We do not use your resume content, job applications, or personal career data to train AI models. We do not sell your data to employers, recruiters, or third parties.

AI features

Sairu uses third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) to power features like resume tailoring, fit scoring, and interview analysis. Content you submit to these features is sent to the provider's API under our account. We do not enable training on your data with these providers. Review the relevant provider's data policy for details on their handling.

Data retention

Your workspace data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Third-party services

Sairu is built on the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Vercel — hosting and serverless compute
• OpenAI — AI completions and transcription
• Stripe — payment processing (when billing is active)
• Resend — transactional email

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Sairu after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
